Ways To Use Vitacilina For Beauty Purposes

If you are Mexican, Mexican- American, come from a Mexican household, then you MOST definitely know exactly what Vitacilina is. For those of you who don’t have a Mexican background, you might be wondering what in the world is Vitacilina. Vitacilina is a well known Mexican antibiotic ointment that is in every Mexican grandmothers household. If I could compare it to something more well known… I would say that it is like a Neosporin, but better. This first aid antibiotic ointment is meant to be used on minor scrapes and cuts, but I’ll explain how Vitacilina works wonders for beauty purposes. ( active ingredient is neomycin sulfate)

The 2 ways I use Vitacilina

  1. Chapped Lips I have a bad habit of biting my lips and picking at my skin when my lips are dry. ( I know…grossss) I have noticed a big difference in my lips when I apply some Vitacilina before going to bed. I wake up the next day with healed and hydrated lips.
  2. Pimples/ Popped Pimples I know people normally don’t like to openly talk about pimples or popping pimples (once again.. grossss) but if I can help someone out, that’s great! SO if you ever find yourself popping a pimple before going to bed, apply some Vitacilina to the pimple and you will notice the size decrease within the next morning. Vitacilina will also dry up the popped pimple rather than it getting irritated and more big. I also like putting Vitacilina on those big pimples that like to randomly appear, even if the pimple is still under the skin, I like to put a small amount on it before it completely comes out when I do this I have noticed the size decrease.

At times I have gone a while without having this in my home, then I’ll walk by some Vitacilina at the store and it reminds me of how much I love it. It is amazing for healing cuts, burns, rashes, and itchy bug bites. BUT I have also found that it works miracles when applying it on chapped lips and pimples/ popped pimples. I have also heard stories of Vitacilina helping with eye wrinkles and stretch marks, but I have yet to personally try it. You can find Vitcilina at Walmart, Target, most drugstores, and of course on Amazon. I bought a combo package that included one full size and a mini travel size at Walmart for only $3.97 which is why I definitely consider this a beauty on a budget product.
